About Abby Haraway & Haraway Designs

Hi, I'm Abby Haraway, founder and designer behind Haraway Designs. Every gown you see is thoughtfully designed and meticulously handcrafted by me, reflecting a lifelong passion for the art of sewing and design. I began sewing at the age of eight and have been creating original gown designs since 2020.

My work has had the honor of appearing on notable stages, including Miss America 2024, and each piece I create is driven by a commitment to craftsmanship, elegance, and individuality. I take great pride in producing high-quality, one-of-a-kind designs for life's most meaningful occasions.

Haraway Designs is a true passion project—one I devote my time and creativity to outside of my full-time role in the Menswear Design Department at Dillard's corporate office in Little Rock, Arkansas. Designing across both menswear and womenswear has given me a well-rounded perspective on fashion, allowing me to bring a refined and versatile aesthetic to every piece I create.
